Early July 2024, HPE released OneView 9.0 as a milestone release. However, technical updates required HPE OneView 9.1 to become the milestone release and HPE OneView 9.0 is no longer a milestone release. Therefore, customers currently on the prior milestone of 8.6.xx or intermediate releases of 8.7, 8.8, 8.9 or 9.0 can update directly to HPE OneView 9.10.01.
HPE OneView 5.4, 6.0, 6.3, 7.0, 8.00.01,8.3.01, 8.60.01 and 9.10.01 are milestone releases and must be updated to before updating to a subsequent release. A milestone release is a release with enhanced update architecture which will deliver faster and more reliable updates. Milestone releases are expected two to three releases apart.
** EOS = End of Support (EOS) defines the last day where a patch may be available for a release.
NOTE. For a version that is in the "End of Support" phase, HPE Pointnext will continue to take calls from the users with active support contracts, but there will be no new fixes provided for this release.
